Individual player ice time is at the discretion of the coaching staff and will be decided with the ultimate goal of improving both YJ player and team development. www.nihl.info

MISSION STATEMENT

Fire Wagon Hockey, Inc (the Organization) is an Illinois nonprofit corporation established for charitable and educational purposes, including promoting recreational athletics for children primarily in the sport of ice hockey and activities thereto. The Organization is supported primarily through program revenue from participants.

We at Fire Wagon Hockey, Inc. strive to be the leader in youth sports in our community, providing quality ice hockey and learn-to-skate instruction and leadership.

We are family focused and community minded and strive to instill family values through the great game of ice hockey. Additionally, we look to our participating families to take a great deal of pride in our community through active involvement in civic related projects related to the youth ice hockey program.

Fire Wagon Hockey Inc. embraces the belief that participation in youth ice hockey ultimately aides young people in acquiring life-long, value based attributes of personal self-esteem, self-discipline, social skills and respect for others.

Fire Wagon Hockey Inc. believes that through the development of every individual, the collective team benefits from resulting depth, diversity and cohesion. This produces a level of confidence that brings success in the competitive ice hockey environment, as well as developing life skills.

Emphasis will always be placed upon education, personal development, teamwork and sportsmanship. The individual conduct of the program board, coaches, players, managers and parents will be maintained to ensure a positive culture in which all can honor the sport and exemplify an organization in which to be proud of.

In an effort to promote the benefits of playing youth ice hockey, to make ice hockey available to as many as possible and to reward individual value to the organization, Fire Wagon Hockey Inc. will provide means of obtaining financial assistance to those who are worthy or in need of such aid.

Our goal is not to be the largest program provider but the most economical. We strive to be what others emulate by demonstrating respect, pride and harmony. We are committed to the long-term growth and development at all levels of the ice hockey program. Our success will be measured by player involvement within the Crystal Lake and surrounding McHenry County communities who enjoy participating in ice hockey.
