2011-2012 Firewagon Hockey Yellowjackets Development Program (YDP)

 

Monday Night Skills Session (20 dates)

·         All Firewagon skaters attend weekly skills night during the 2011-2012 season

·         Players will fill two teams at each level: Team Coke, Team Powerade

·         60 minutes sessions led by the Firewagon Hockey coaching staff

·         Consists of full ice and station drills in addition to informal competition and games

Weekend Session (20 dates)

·         For “YDP Only” skaters on Team Powerade

·         9 sessions of split ice

o   Half of the team will spend 30 minutes with Coach Kenny McCudden of Ice Company participating in skating instruction

o   Half of the team will spend 30 minutes with Firewagon Hockey coaches participating in informal cross ice competition and games

o   Group will rotate after 30 minutes

·         11 refereed  games

·         Ice time includes both Saturday (14 dates)and Sunday (6 dates)
