This Food Drive will provide much needed support to the Food Pantries of Algonquin-LITH, Cary Grove and Crystal Lake. The holidays are over and by late February, the shelves are bare. However, the seniors, disabled, single parents & families facing unemployment that the pantries serve still have urgent need to receive temporary assistance.

can take on this project and be proud of their accomplishments. YDP Teams with 80% participation will be entered into a raffle. The winning team will have dinner with Coach Casey!! Just use the attached flyer to get started! It can be modified for your player to state their local food pantry, pick-up date, etc. Please remember to bring in all donations to the YJ Super Skills Competition on March 6th.
For individuals wishing to make a monetary donation, checks may be made out to the Northern Illinois Food Bank or online at www.northernilfoodbank.org. Since our local food pantries are participants of the Northern Illinois Food Bank, their buying power is greatly enhanced through donations. This option gives all of the benefits of giving and allows the food pantry to purchase larger quantities of the most needed items while being convenient for the donor.
